voice, books and FIRE II – Ullmann / PHØNIX16

This work is a part of “Grenzraum HÖREN”, an expanded multi-sensorial programme developed by PHØNIX16 and Timo Kreuser that looks deeply into the works of two composers: Jakob Ullmann and Pauline Oliveros. In their distinctive ways, both developed particular relations to listening, the inaudible phenomenon of sounds as experienced by the ear, and the further audible information acquired through listening.
